Club Night in 2026-2027

The Club meets on Monday nights from 19:30 - 21:30 thoughout the year in two distinct 'seasons' : Winter and Summer. (excluding occasional Public holidays and Christmas-New Year period.)

We play with feather shuttlecocks. 

​

However, we are beginning to experiment with hybrid shuttlecocks. 

​

We are still playing games to 21, instead of 15 which will go into effect for BWF as of 2027.

 

Winter season starts on the first Monday in September (when the Club's Annual General Meeting is held) and ends before the first Bank Holiday in May. League matches are played during the Winter season.

 

Summer season starts on the first Monday following the Bank holiday in May and ends before the last Bank holiday in August.

Club Update September 2026

We continue to accept new members, particularly those that have interest and experience to play competitively.

​

Visitor fees have now been raised from £8 to £10 per session.

​

Visitors will not be able to participate in club nights when there is a home match.

Due to the surge in membership to the club over the last 9 months, the club has decided to no longer accept walk-in visitors. 

​

New members are still being accepted. However, you must ensure that you contact us via our Contact Us page ahead of attending a session.
