Club Night in 2024-2025

The Club meets on Monday nights from 19:30 - 21:30 thoughout the year in two distinct 'seasons' : Winter and Summer. (excluding occasional Public holidays and Christmas-New Year period.)

We play with feather shuttlecocks.

 

Winter season starts on the first Monday in September (when the Club's Annual General Meeting is held) and ends before the first Bank Holiday in May. League matches are played during the Winter season.

 

Summer season starts on the first Monday following the Bank holiday in May and ends before the last Bank holiday in August.

 

We always welcome visitors and new members of intermediate playing standard. We have had players of mixed abilities and age range from students to the 'not so young' 75 year olds (competing at international veterans competitions and winning medals!) Although not über competitive, most of our members participate in league matches. The Club endeavours to accommodate the wishes of all members who want to play competitively.

 

Membership to the club is subject to approval by the Club Committee​​
