Club Facilities

Winchester Badminton Club is based at The Westgate Badminton Centre. A purpose built Performance and Development Centre. Situated just outside the ancient Roman town of Winchester. Costing £2.2 million to build and funded by a National Lottery grant, the centre offers state of the art sporting facilities.

When you arrive at the centre you will find free parking. This is right outside Westgate Badminton Centre, or further down in the school. See below the range of facilities that you can find here.

• String replacement services (ask at reception)

Badminton Services at Winchester Club

 

It is incredibly convenient to have such a state of the art facility. When strings inevitably break, it is very easy to go to reception and place an order for your racket to be restrung. 

​

When you place an order for restringing, you have various options of strings available to you. Typically these strings are available:

• Yonex BG80 Power

• Ashaway Zymax 66 Fire Power

​

You can also select what string tension you want to use. You should find it easy to order between 20-28lbs tension when filling the form. Orders for restringing usually take up to a week to complete.
